NORTH PARK
At the Rose Barn - Mon. & Tue. from 6PM to 9PM
Classes are designed as a training foundation for friendly, non-reactive dogs over 3 months of age. You will learn the skills need to set your dog up for success so that you can enjoy life together!
Please keep in mind that we keep the class size small in order to ensure safety and comfort for you and your dogs. Some classes offer rolling enrollment, which mean you can start class at anytime as long as there is still space left in the class.
Not only will we cover topics such as loose leash walking, jumping, and crate training but your dog will also master basic cues such as sit, down, stand, stay, come, leave it, focus and much more!

Training for behavioral challenges such as extreme excitability, fearfulness or aggression (barking, growling, lunging at other dogs or humans) are NOT addressed in our group classes. If your dog already has any of these issues or is reactive we recommend private sessions or our daycare training program.
All training class sales are final and non-refundable. Contact us if you have questions.
Please carefully consider your schedule when registering for a group class.
Dogs must be up to date for their age on vaccinations in order to attend.
Our group class provides your dog with valuable social skills.
MANNERS
Puppy Manners - Part 1
Our 4-week interactive puppy class focuses on helping you learn about proper socialization techniques for your puppy (especially in regards to men and strangers) and other dogs, as well as teaching basic good manners such as Polite Greeting, Sit, Down and Come, and real life skills such as Drop It and Leave It. Our goal is to set your puppy up to be a well-mannered, confident, adult dog. Many other puppy topics are covered during class such as puppy play biting, crate training, house-training, walking nicely on a leash, learning not to guard their food or bones, learning how to be alone without being upset & learning to love to be petted and handled by everyone. Clicker training methodology will also be taught in this class but is not required.

In this course, your puppy will learn to be calmer in exciting situations – like when you have guests in your home, go for walks or take him out in public.

Fluency Series @ North Park
There are many dogs who will sit, lie down, stay, heel, and show off a few fun parlor tricks at home – but who look completely perplexed when asked to perform the same behaviors at an outdoor café, while visiting relatives or friends, or perhaps even when entering the ring at a dog show!
It’s important to understand generalization and fluency because a dog’s failure to perform is often seen as the dog’s deliberate choice to not comply. In reality, the dog’s lack of compliance usually means he doesn’t know the behavior to the extent you believe he does. That’s a training problem; the behavior wasn’t generalized and taught to fluency.
In this series of classes we will work on Precision, Latency, Speed, Distance, Duration, and Distractions. Choose up to 3 training areas when signing up: Jumping, Recall, Leash manners, Bed/Mat, Down, Sit, Leave, Stay, Attention, Drop.
